Lateral Thigh Trainer Only $99.95
The lateral thigh trainer, unlike ordinary steppers, moves in a bi-directional, skating-like motion. Move your legs in, out, up, and down, all at the same time. No matter your size or fitness level, you can burn fat and tone your muscles with this system.
As you move vertically on the Lateral Thigh Trainer, you'll tone your glutes. As your legs move in and out, you'll firm your inner and outer thighs, abs, and obloquies. This is made possible by the Lateral Thigh Trainer's double action resistance disk with seven resistance levels. Customize your workout with less resistance for a fat burning cardio session, or add more resistance for a slower muscle toning workout.
The Lateral Thigh Trainer provides a smooth and easy ride, with low impact. Its large anti-slip pedals and a health club quality steel base are built to last. The quiet compact design makes it easy to use anywhere.
Picture it: it's 3 a.m. and you can't sleep. You turn on the TV and become hypnotized by the latest in guaranteed weight loss. We've all seen these infomercials and often wonder--could that really work? In the middle of the night, anything seems possible!

I bought the Lateral Thigh Trainer on 1/2/05 and returned it on 1/21/05. From the beginning it squeaked so oiled it with WD-40 and it worked. I did 20-30 minutes every day. It gave me a great workout and I loved it. The squeak came back so I oiled it again but this time the squeak did not disappear. The tension knob would NOT stay on the highest level even though I tightened the knob. I followed the directions about not stepping down on the bar and I don't feel I abused it in any way. I was so disappointed because I think it's a good machine, if only they made it better. After I returned it, I went to Sharper Image and bought their mini-stepper. They have a 3 year replacement guarantee.

I've had my Lateral Thigh Trainer for several days, and so far I'm happy. I did notice the squeak that a lot of people talk about, but so far it's not too loud or annoying, and I'll use some WD40 on it, which should help. I've been doing two 20-minute workouts a day, since I'm so anxious to get back into an exercise routine and lose some of this horrifying jiggly flab that has appeared on my body the last few months! I do find that my heartrate seems to increase nicely and I break a sweat. I started adding 5-pound free weights for the upper body workout. I did notice some low back pain for the first time last night, so I may have overdone it. I'll use it without free weights for another week or so and then try again.

Although I don't use the Lateral Thigh Trainer on a regular basis, I can feel it working when I do. When I use it I go about 1600-2000 strides (about 30 min). However, I don't feel sore or "worked out" the next day. I was a little concerned about that since I'm used to TaeBo where you feel like you are going to die afterward. The chain does squeak and is annoying but mine only does it when I put it on more resistance.
