Ab Belt
Ab belts follow after the success of the AbTronic movement and hopefully not its downfall. You can go shopping for it at HSN.
"For years, marketers of diet and exercise products have been preying on overweight, out-of-shape consumers by hawking false hope in a pill, false hope in a bottle, and, now, in a belt," stated FTC Chairman Timothy J. Muris in a press release. "Unfortunately, there are no magic pills, potions, or pulsators for losing weight and getting into shape. The only winning combination is changing your diet and exercise."
Well that is the load on the ab belt phenomenon, which admittedly took consumers by storm. But if you ask me, I am deeply grateful I bought my Ab Belt two years ago, and that I bought two sets. While most of the FTC’s findings are true, without such ab belt device I would not have lost 30 pounds so easily. While I biked to and from work, regular use of the ab belt for a period of four months, while watching TV or while working out at home—made me trim my waist line from size 36 to 31 inches.
For years, I have been looking for a miracle gadget that can accomplish the feat for me. Only the ab belt lived up to this promise. While it’s true that the ab belt doesn’t work for couch potatoes, when combined with the least amount of exercise (i.e., 30 minutes of stationary bike every few days), it does lead to a muscled tummy.
Luckily I bought two sets of the ab belt (quite a foresight if I may say). My favorite As Seen On TV store in the mall doesn’t carry this stuff anymore.
